Guided Wave Technology
Our advanced Guided Wave Ultrasonic Testing capability enables inspection of extended pipe lengths (up to 100 meters) from a single access point.
The data gathered classifies pipework into four corrosion categories (minor to severe), supporting Fitness for Service (FFS) and risk-based assessments per API 580 and 579 standards. This ensures accurate condition evaluations and guides necessary remediation actions. Using GUL Ultrasonic's permanently installed gPIMs ring, we also provide pipeline condition monitoring services providing our clients with real time data on the condition of their lines and establishing trends for proactive pipeline maintenance.
